*If all admissions are filled in earlier rounds, further rounds may not be conducted.

*In the case of foreigners whose parents are both non-Korean, admission is granted regardless of the quota.

*The detailed schedule is subject to change.

○ By the specified deadline, applicants must submit their certificate of (expected) graduation, academic transcript, and other required documents either by mail or in person to the designated location. Failure to submit these documents may result in disqualification from the interview.

3. Qualifications to Apply for

  1. A. Common requirements:
    1. 1) Master’s Course
      • a. Those individuals who have obtained or those individuals who will obtain no later than February, 2026 a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university domestic or abroad
      • b. Those individuals who are recognized to hold at least as the equivalent academic career as the above based on other laws or enforcement ordinances
    2. 2) Doctoral Course
      • a. Those individuals who have obtained or those who will obtain no later than February, 2026 a master’s degree from an accredited graduate school domestic or abroad
      • b. Those individuals who are recognized to hold at least as the equivalent academic career as the above based on other laws or enforcement ordinances
  2. B. Special selection: Those individuals who correspond to the below matters as those individuals who correspond to 1), 2) of Regular Selection:
    1. 1) Those individuals whose parents are both non-Korean
    2. 2) Overseas Koreans or Foreigners who have completed abroad all of the educational courses that are equivalent to the elementary & secondary education and university education of the Republic of Korea
  3. C. Transfer-Admission Selection: Those individuals who correspond to the below matter as those individuals who correspond to Regular Selection & Special Selection
    1. 1) Master’s Degree Course: Those individuals who have completed at least 1 semester and obtained at least 6 credit points of master’s degree course of the same or similar field of major at the graduate school domestic or abroad
    2. 2) Doctoral degree Course: Those individuals who have completed at least 1 semester and obtained at least 6 credit points of doctoral degree course of the same or similar field of major at the graduate school domestic or abroad

Signed Consent Form ▶School form, Please write only in the red box in the School form.
▶In need of 1 copy by each in the event of bachelor’s, master’s course being the university outside RO Korea
1 Copy of Passport ID Page ▶The page containing the name and photo of the applicant
▶VISA page (corresponding only to foreign students)
Family Relation Certificate ▶In the case of a Korean, indicate the last digit of the resident registration number.
▶In the case of a foreigner, the documents prepared in the form of this school.
Proof of University Graduation ▶Certification of a 4year Bachelor’s degree has to have been issued.
If you have submitted certification of expectant graduation, you must re-submit it before starting your Sunhak UP graduate university term.
▶If you have graduated from a foreign college, you must translate the document into English.
▶Submit verified Apostille certificate of degree confirmation (In the case of Chinese university graduates, certificate of issuance by the Chinese Ministry of Education's Operational Academic Accreditation Center)
▶If you have graduated from a foreign college, you must translate your transcript into English and it must be notarized by the consul or Apostille.
The applicant for doctoral course is in need of 1 copy of a certificate of graduation (or to be graduated) of bachelor, master by each.
Transcript ▶An Official Transcript clearly written of percentage points and total grade points earned.
▶If you have received a grade report with only grade point averages, you must request a grade report showing percentage grades.
▶Submit verified Apostille certificate of degree confirmation (In the case of Chinese university graduates, certificate of issuance by the Chinese Ministry of Education's Operational Academic Accreditation Center)
▶If you have transferred colleges, you must provide grade reports from all schools attended.
▶If you have graduated from a foreign college, you must translate your transcript into English and it must be notarized by the consul or Apostille.
The applicant for doctoral course is in need of 1 copy of transcript of bachelor, master by each.
Document re: Foreign Language Ability
(corresponding only to foreign students)
▶At least level 3 of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), Completion of the Ministry of Justice Korea Immigration & integration program 3 steps or at least 61 points for pre-evaluation, and completion of intermediate level 1 in Korean at King Sejong Institute
  - Submission of TOPIK to be waived at the time of submission of verification document (certificate of graduation, etc.) that the foreign students studying in the Republic of Korea who are subject to admission with TOPIK points have completed secondary education (middle & high school) in the Republic of Korea (Before graduation, obtain at least level 4 of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), Completion of the Ministry of Justice Korea Immigration & integration program 4 steps or at least 81 points for pre-evaluation, and completion of intermediate level 2 in Korean at King Sejong Institute)
  ※Subjects: the students with foreign nationality & overseas Koreans who have completed abroad all of educational courses that are equivalent to elementary/secondary education and university education of the Republic of Korea
▶The subjects to Korea ability test to be waived of TOPIK at the time when the student who is graduated from master of this school applies for admission to the upper level course (but, limited only to those individuals who have submitted TOPIK at the time of admission to master’s course)

▶Test for hepatitis B (regular), X-ray, 4 types of urine in general (pH, urinary protein, occult blood in urine)
▶Certificate of vaccination (including a photocopy)
  - The student who is unable for vaccination due to the reason such as health is requested to inquire at Administration Office (+82-31-589-1555).
Certificate of deposit balance
(Applicable to international students who require a student visa (D-2))
▶For students from abroad: need to show at least 20 million won in bank balance.

# If a student submits fake (false) documentation, their admission will be cancelled
